BTACC is a two day course and meets all of the standards of IEC (Immediate Emergency care) as well as traditional Emergency First Aid at work.

The scenarios in the course are specifically tailored to the organisation involved, based on a fact finding risk assessment, to maximise the learning opportunity.

BTACC includes all aspects of major trauma care, life support, oxygen administration and common medical/first aid emergencies. The key focus of the course is life-saving skills to manage the casualty in the time before the next level of care arrives.

BTACC is equivalent to PHEM level D, as defined by the Faculty of Pre-hospital Care for providers.

The course is designed for anyone who may have to face major injuries or medical emergencies.

Basic Trauma & Casualty care (BTACC) provides an evidence based, clinically led & highly focused
emergency care course.

The aim of BTACC is to provide candidates with the necessary skills to identify and treat ‘time critical’ and life-threatening injuries. Using the Internationally renowned M.A.R.C.H algorithm we introduce a systematic approach to managing all types of injuries or conditions.

BTACC is a two-day course and meets all of the standards of IEC (Immediate Emergency care) as well as exceeds the content of traditional First Aid at work.
