Tactical Emergency Casualty Care

OVERVIEW

Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) is a scenario-based course that introduces candidates to Civilian Tactical Medicine.

Immersive in nature and fully embracing The ATACC Group ethos, this course aims to prepare candidates for deployment to high threat environments where further medical support is not readily available. Combined with the use of llive actors and realistic casualty simulation, TECC provides a unique learning experience.

TECC is a dynamic, engaging and effective tactical medicine programme. It adopts an innovative but proven approach, which ensures retention of knowledge and skills, providing clear direction in how to ensure better patient outcomes.

TECC also forms the foundations of our more comprehensive Civilian Tactical Medicine (CTM) Course and both are part of our Tactical Training portfolio.

As an ‘Educational Partner’ of the Committee Of Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (CoTECC), you can be confident that our course meets all the criteria established in the C-TECC Guidelines for treatment in the three phases of tactical care.

TECC is accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons, London. It is validated by The ATACC Group (TAG) and ATACC Faculty which brings the extensive experience of senior doctors, nurses, paramedics, allied health professionals and technical rescue specialists from areas such as Remote Medicine, Search & Rescue, and Tactical Medicine.
