Tactical Emergency Casualty Care

OVERVIEW

Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) is a scenario based course that introduces candidates to Civilian Tactical Medicine.

Immersive in nature, this course will prepare candidates for deployment to high threat environments where further medical support is not readily available. The use of live actors and realistic casualty simulation provides a unique learning experience.

TECC is a dynamic, engaging, effective tactical medicine programme. It adopts an innovative approach which ensures retention of knowledge and skills as well as outlining a clear course of action that ensures better patient outcomes.
TECC also forms the foundations of our Civilian Tactical Medicine Course as part of our suite of Tactical Training.

As part of our Educational Partnership status with the Committee Of Tactical Emergency Casualty Care, this course meets all the criteria established in the C-TECC Guidelines for treatment in the three phases of tactical care.

TECC is validated by The ATACC Group (TAG) Medical Advisory Group and ATACC Faculty. Which consists of Doctors, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals and Technical Specialists in areas such as Remote Medicine, Search & Rescue, Rescue Casualty Care and Tactical Medicine.
