Our Nurse Simulation is a two day course designed, through scenario-based training,

to empower and instill confidence in nursing students and learn new skills that can be used later in practice.

OVERVIEW

Nurse Simulation is an interactive course that enables student nurses to experience and manage real-life scenarios regularly seen in nursing.
The course includes short “blast talks” and recap sessions on basic clinical skills, however the focus is on allowing nursing students to get practical hands on experience of looking after patients with a range of medical conditions and injuries.
We use live actors and props to provide realistic scenarios in a clinical environment, which encourages students to apply their knowledge and skills  and develop their confidence.

COURSE SUMMARY

There are many factors that can affect student nurses gaining hands on experience with patients, be it placement location, clinical exposure or mentor engagement. These are all crucial in developing the confidence to talk to and care for people. The Nurse simulation course allows students to care for “real patients” in “real time” and also take the lead in their care, as they would as qualified staff, in a safe and nurturing environment.
