OVERVIEW

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) Scheme promotes lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces, providing financial support in each of a maximum of three separate financial years. The scheme enables higher level learning aimed at attaining a nationally recognised qualification at Level 3 or above (or approved international equivalent) with an approved Learning Provider.

AET - Award In Education and Training

AET

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF) provides an introduction to teaching. It develops skills, knowledge and understanding of how to prepare, plan, deliver and evaluate teaching and learning sessions. It can be delivered in a range of teaching and learning contexts. Whilst the qualification may be taken by someone not currently in a teaching role there is a minimum requirement to deliver a micro teaching session.

The Level 3 Award in Education and Training will prepare learners for employment.

IQA - Award In Internal Quality Assurance

IQA

The Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment (RQF) is professional, vocational qualification from the TAQA suite.

IQA qualifications provide learners with the skills and knowledge required to carry out quality assurance activities related to assessment within the education and training sector.

The qualification will confirm competence and will support a role in the workplace.
