SPEAR – Specialist Endovascular Advanced Resuscitator
The SPEAR course takes us to the edges of current resuscitation knowledge and skills. It explores individualised physiologically targeted resuscitation, to optimise the chances of ROSC and survival.
The course is highly practical and includes endovascular monitoring and therapies in cardiac arrest, embracing advanced level simulation, leadership and team skills.
The course includes the latest equipment for monitoring, endovascular access, mechanical CPR, defibrillation, ventilation, and an introduction to ECPR.
The world leading Faculty has embraced everything in current resuscitation guidelines, the latest evidence, advanced cardiac arrest physiology, and critical care skills to produce what is currently the most advanced cardiac arrest course available.
The course is 3 days, beginning with the highest quality conventional resuscitation, then rapidly building on this with in depth contemporary resuscitation knowledge, and lots of time to practice critical care skills, simulations and teamwork, before the advanced scenarios of the final day.
This course is supported by the EVTM Society, Sweden.
