ARREST – Advanced Responder Resuscitation Training
The ARREST course is part of our ‘Resuscitator series’ and is a multidisciplinary course aimed at those who are already experienced in ALS but who wish to improve their outcomes and to move away from a rigid algorithm system to a more individualised patient focussed approach.
ARREST embraces the latest ILCOR, ERC and UKRC guidelines and aims to ‘optimise your ALS’ through practical scenarios, interactive workshops and techniques developed by international expert resuscitators and our Faculty.
The course is launched in Zermatt at The Big Sick Conference 2026, after more tha a year of development and forms a key part of the ATACC ‘Resuscitator’ series for anyone managing cardiac arrests on a regular basis.
This is a one day course and has two versions for either in-hospital care (ARREST-in) or the out of hospital, prehospital version (ARREST–out).
The course includes practical ways to quickly improve the performance of your team, optimising ‘flash teams’, the marginal gains in ALS and how to deliver them in a truly individualised patient focussed way, debriefing and a look to the future, beyond ALS.
The ARREST course is everyone who wants more than just ALS, but still within the latest resuscitation guidelines.
