If you are passionate about delivering high quality First aid and Prehospital care training, you may qualify to become a Professional Partner with The ATACC Group, in collaboration with QNUK to offer our Integrated Emergency Care (IECP) regulated qualifications. Qualifications Network (QNUK) are a recognised Awarding Organisation by UK qualifications, examinations, and assessments regulators Ofqual, Qualifications Wales and CCEA.

The qualifications currently available to deliver through QNUK are:

  • QNUK Level 3 Award in First Aid, Trauma and Casualty Care – Emergency (FTACC-E) (RQF)
  • QNUK Level 3 Award in First Aid, Trauma and Casualty Care (FTACC) (RQF)
  • QNUK Level 3 Award in Basic Trauma and Casualty Care (BTACC) (RQF)
  • QNUK Level 3 Award in Rescue Trauma and Casualty Care (RTACC) (RQF)

This suite of First Aid and Prehospital care qualifications have been developed by leading Critical Care Doctors and Prehospital Care Clinicians with a background in the NHS and UK Emergency Services.

CENTRE FAQ

Courses that are delivered through our Professional Partners are offered through QNUK, who are a recognised Awarding Organisation. All the qualifications are accredited and appear on the Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF). This gives employers and learners peace of mind that the courses are nationally recognised and fit for purpose. Find out more here.

Yes, our courses have been mapped between B & E on the PHEM framework.

In addition, our FTACC-E exceeds the Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) syllabus and our FTACC fully maps to the First Aid at Work (FAW) syllabus. Both cover catastrophic bleeding as standard.

Our enhanced first aid courses BTACC and RTACC cover additional knowledge and skills above traditional workplace requirements.

All professional partners will receive marketing materials from us when they become an approved QNUK centre. Course Manuals and Check cards can be purchased via our online shop or can be ordered directly via purchase order.

We have an online map which will allow potential clients to view centres by region and the details of their nearest provider when looking to book their desired course. When clicked this will take them to their providers website.

A trainer must have:

  • A recognised teaching qualification such as the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (previously PTLLS)
  • A recognised assessor qualification such as the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (12 Credit PTLLS) or an Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocational Achievement (previously A1/2 or D32/33)
  • Occupational competence/subject specialism as per the below chart:
FTACC & FTACC-E BTACC & RTACC
  • First Aid at Work (FAW) or
  • First Aid Trauma and Casualty Care (FTACC) or
  • Level 3 prehospital care qualification (3-year validity)or
  • HCPC registered paramedic or
  • NMC registered nurse or
  • GMC registered doctor
  • QNUK Level 3 Award in Rescue Trauma and Casualty Care (RTACC) (RQF) or
  • Level 4 prehospital care qualification (must be validated by TAG) or
  • HCPC registered paramedic or
  • NMC registered nurse or
  • GMC registered doctor
TAG FTACC Train the Trainer certificate TAG RTACC Train the Trainer certificate

In order to maintain competence as a recognised Trainer / Assessor you must attend annual refresher courses delivered by The ATACC Group. This is part of the medical assurance that is essential to maintain the integrity of these qualifications.
