Description
Medical Rescue Masterclass – a multi-agency seamless approach
This unique masterclass will showcase the very best of multi-agency working during extrication. The expert Faculty will bring together advanced medicine with the latest principles of vehicle extrication.
For over 25 years ATACC courses have embraced the principles of seamless, combined, medical and rescue continuous activity. The aim is to deliver the casualties to advanced level medical care as safely and swiftly as possible, without unnecessary delay.
The principles of the EXIT project and similar streamlined approaches to extrication are brought together in a practical solution based on ‘method – speed – route’ which enables all emergency services to speak the same language and to have the confidence to discard traditional dogma and to optimise casualty care using the ‘SAMURAI LASER’ approach.
The masterclass will create a whole series of RTC casualty scenarios with varied levels of entrapment and medical complexity. Each of these will be explored and considered, before the teams formulate a ‘medical rescue’ plan with the other services. These plans will then be tested, challenged and adapted through constant communication between Fire and Rescue, Ambulance and Police as the scenario continues.
Each scenario will develop and educate the delegates in a unique way, so that on completion of the masterclass they are better prepared for all types of ‘medical rescue’ in entrapment.
Do not miss this unique opportunity to experience learning with Th ATACC group, their specialist instructors and their unique approach to advanced level simulation.
Please note: Any cancellations will be subject to a £10 administration fee. All cancellations must be made at least 6 weeks prior to the event date.
