Description

The Nurse Trauma and Critical Care (NTACC) Course provides candidates with the knowledge and practical skills to meet the requirements of the Emergency Department Level 2 Trauma Nurse Competencies as stipulated by the National Major Trauma Nursing Group (2022). NTACC is a two-day immersive course delivered using the ATACC methodology, adopting a simple standard approach which can be used to manage any  trauma call. Candidates will progress through increasingly more complex specialised scenarios covering all aspects of trauma care within a modern major trauma system.

Duration:
● 2 days
● 4-year validity – Candidates need to undertake internal refresher training and retake the course before expiry to maintain their NTACC qualification, and must also remain registered healthcare professionals with respective regulators.
