Corporate Gold Sponsor of a CRV in Nelson, Canada.
Making a difference to the communities and people who work with us is a fundamental part of our corporate social responsibility (CSR) objectives with an aim to elevate a positive community involvement which will support and improve patient outcomes.
We are excited and proud to be a corporate sponsor for The Kootenay Emergency Response Physician Association (KERPA) in Canada which supports volunteer, Dr. Nicholas Sparrow, as he assists the emergency services responding to critical 911 calls.
Kootenay Emergency Response Physicians Association (KERPA) is a non-profit volunteer organization that was founded in 2016 with the objectives of saving lives and helping the most critically ill and injured patients in our community. KERPA equips and supports volunteer Emergency Response Physicians operating in the Kootenay Area of the Interior Region. Volunteer Emergency Response Physicians can effectively and efficiently respond to the most critical 911 calls with the key objectives of supporting the Emergency Services and providing on-scene physician support to critically ill or injured patients.
Dr. Sparrow has previously responded in his personal vehicle and covers all his insurance and maintenance expenses whilst this has worked in the past, a dedicated vehicle will have numerous benefits for the wider community and his ability to respond more effectively to critically ill and injured patients.
Having the opportunity to make this kind of contribution will make a huge difference to the communities and people who work with us and we hope you are as excited and proud of both Nic and the Group as we elevate a positive community involvement which will support and improve patient outcomes.
